I’m looking to try applying to transfer to Yale, and their website states that candidates should explicitly state what academic opportunities I wish to specifically pursue at Yale. They also do not have a supplement on the Common App, so am I correct in assuming that they want my main Common App essay to be focused on Yale? Doesn’t that make it difficult applying to other schools (or is that the point)? Can I have various versions of that Common App essay for different schools I apply to?
