    The vast majority of the “top” colleges/universities require an SAT/ACT score for transfer applicants. Check the admissions requirements for each specific school you’re interested in.

    does it matter which test i take ? or should i take both ?

    Hi jamesyy! Here’s a quick summary of the transfer testing requirements at the US News Top 50: http://transferweb.com/stats/transfer-testing-requirements/ Always check with each school you’re interested in though, as the requirements do change.

    What I would recommend is taking a practice test for each (and make sure you take it seriously – time it, etc.), see which one you seem to do better on, and continue to study and eventually take the one you do better on.
