Transferweb‘s mission is to help as many students as much as possible with the process of transferring colleges.

Chris Goodmacher, Co-Founder
Chris transferred to Dartmouth College, co-authored The Transfer Book, and is a guest lecturer on transfer students for a master’s-level class at Columbia University’s school of education. He is quoted several times in Cal Newport’s book, How to Become a Straight-A Student, and he has published on philosophy (morality and world poverty) and is a peer reviewer for the Financial Analysts Journal. Chris also holds graduate degrees from the London School of Economics and Oxford University. He is from California and now lives in New York, where he helps interview applicants for Dartmouth. For fun, he likes DJing/producing music.

Lan Ngo, Ph.D., Co-Founder
Lan transferred to Stanford University, co-authored The Transfer Book, and completed her Ph.D. at UPenn’s Graduate School of Education. She also received a masters in education from Columbia Univerity, which she attended on several scholarships, and where she specialized in teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL). She has published several academic articles and book chapters on education. She is also from California and now lives in Philadelphia. Lan loves traveling!
