Minimum GPA for Applying:
The minimum GPA requirement for California residents is 2.0, and 2.4 for non-residents.

Minimum Grades for Transfer:
The minimum grade requirement for transfer credit is D, except for: English Comp, Oral Communication, Critical Thinking and Math (above the algebra level) which all must have a C or higher.

Credits (Min/Max):
The maximum credits accepted from a 2-year are 70 semester (90 quarter) hours. There is no max from a 4-year. You must complete 30 semester hours at Cal State Sacramento to earn a bachelors degree.

Test Scores for Applying:
SAT/ACT scores are required if you are applying with less than 60 transferrable credits.

Letters of Recommendation Required:
Cal State Sacramento does not publish a requirement for letters of recommendation; however, you may be required to submit a statement of good standing from your previous institution.

Essay(s) required:
An essay or personal statement is not required for admission consideration.

Application Fee:
An application fee of $55.00 in U.S. funds, payable to California State University, is required for each application filed. The fee is non-refundable.

Other Requirements:
Applicants must have completed certain math and English courses depending on level of transfer - lower or upper division transfer applicant.
