I can’t think of anything better than the school’s website right now. We’re building out a directory of colleges with transfer-specific information, but that’s still a little while away!

Good question! No idea, but we’ll try and look into their particular policy (some schools are actively trying to enroll more transfer students).

Even if they have overenrollment in freshmen, colleges still usually reserve space for transfer students (because they add diversity, etc.).

They are more important the more selective the school is. If you’re applying to one of the most selective schools (Ivies, etc.), then you should have some pretty amazing extracurriculars even your freshman year. […]

Everything thing we’ve seen tells us it’s actually NOT a disadvantage to apply to transfer after being rejected from a school.
