George Fox University frequently ranks well among the nation's top Christian colleges. Since it was established in 1885, George Fox University has remained true to the ideals of its evangelical Quaker founders. All faculty and staff are committed Christians, and the curriculum focuses on both the academic and the spiritual. Undergraduates at George Fox can choose from over 40 majors with business being most popular. Academics are supported by a healthy 13 to 1 student / faculty ratio and an average class size of 20. The university is located in Newberg, Oregon, a town about a half hour southwest of downtown Portland. In athletics, the George Fox Bruin's compete in the NCAA Division III Northwest Conference for most sports. The college fields 15 varsity sports.

Minimum GPA for Applying:
There is a minimum GPA requirement of 2.60 (on a 4.0 scale)to be considered for transfer admission.

Minimum Grades for Transfer:
Undergraduate credit must carry a grade of pass or C- or betterand must be at 100 level or above.

Credits (Min/Max):
Any evaluation of transfer credit is to be considered tentative until the student has completed 12 hours in good standing. There is no maximum to the number of transferrable credits, providing the sending institution is regionally accredited.

Test Scores for Applying:
Transfer students applying for admission during the first year out of high school should submit entrance examination scores. The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or American College Test (ACT) will be accepted.

Letters of Recommendation Required:
You must have the two recommendation forms in the application packet completed and sent to the admissions office.
