Located on a 103-acre campus in western Philadelphia and Montgomery Country, Saint Joseph's University is a highly-regarded private Catholic University with a history dating back to 1851. The college's strengths in the liberal arts and science earned it a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. Many of Saint Joseph's most popular and distinguished programs, however, are in business fields. Undergraduates can choose from 75 academic programs. In athletics, the Saint Joseph's Hawks compete in the NCAA Division I Atlantic 10 Conference as well as the Philadelphia Big 5 conference. Lacrosse competes in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.

Minimum GPA for Applying:
Saint Joseph's University will place an emphasis on the transfer applicant's grade point average, the college-level courses completed and the institution(s) attended. Typical admitted transfer students have at least a 2.5 cummulative GPA from all college work.

Minimum Grades for Transfer:
Transfer students must successfully complete their college-level coursework and earn a final grade of at least a "C" or better for transferrable credit to be given.

Credits (Min/Max):
Undergraduate day, full-time transfer students may transfer a maximum of sixty credits or twenty courses.SJU requires that all students complete a minimum of twenty courses at Saint Joseph's in order to be conferred an SJU bachelors degree.

Test Scores for Applying:
