The University of the Sciences is a private, comprehensive, coeducational university founded in 1821 as the first school of pharmacy in North America. USciences is located in Philadelphia's University City neighborhood, a vibrant, student-centered location that is also conveniently located near 75 percent of all the pharmaceutical firms in the United States.
