Howdy! I am a first semester sophomore at American University in Washington DC exploring the opportunities I would have being a transfer junior at a harder university than I am currently at. For some background on me, My current GPA is a 3.67 and I am a double major in Journalism and Cinema Studies. I work two jobs– one as a TA for a queer studies course and one in retail– and I am involved in a professional film fraternity, a commentary-based satirical online publication, and the campus radio station. My high school GPA was something along the lines of 3.5 (pretty mediocre) and my ACT was a 29. For context, I applied to transfer to Tulane last semester and was accepted (chose not to take it).
